This major work 'Te Tiriti o Waitangi - upon reflection' presents the original text of Te Tiriti (1840), in mirror script.

Peters then made a quarter-scale lino-cut of 'Te Tiriti o Waitangi - upon reflection' creating relief prints. Oil inks were used and pressed into damp paper. An improvised press was devised to allow large-scale hand-made lino prints.

The first oil prints were made on damped Lana Desai paper 640 gsm 60 x 40 inch with deckle edge - series of 3 - 'Wekas run'  and a second series of 200 is entitled - 'Colenso's run' – the first nine prints are on on Fabriano 200 gsm paper 1.5 x 1.0m.
